Re: [Faction] The Nobility Factions
From my gathering, these factions are cultures in themselves? How each views the Imperial City could be themes in the Imperial Cult or faction storylines. For example, the Heirophants may regard the Cyrodiil as a necropolis, and have developed an intuitively Ayleid faith in an afterlife. Why should ...

Re: Cults and Religions of Cyrodiil
if you asked an individual Nibenean about their beliefs, the answer should never be, in my opinion, just "Arkay" or "The Divines"- instead, they would follow the Order of the Fallen Leaf or the Cult of the Otter... I've been reading into Etruscan religion, and that's exactly how...

Re: Cyrodiil Creatures
Sense Shivering Isles pretty well depicts the Cyrodiil that should have been, what if the imps and trolls were replaced by baliwogs and grummites? Doors of Oblivion contains models for both. The Elytra and Gnarls are pretty cool too, and would round out the creature variety really well.

Re: Unsettled Questions
Is the general populace still suspicious the Simulacrum controls the Empire? I understand they fear the heirs are doppelgängers, but is society even aware the Simulacrum is over, or do they who lived through the events suspect the histories are propaganda, and the simulacra are embedded in the highe...

Re: The Nords' Totemic Religion [TES V]
Funny you should mention hell. I remember once having this whole debate with someone about the Nordic concept of hell and the underworld. The main point was that some of the texts (notably MK's) seem to refer to a place - literally called Hell by the Nords - which was distinct from Sovngarde/the Un...

An Arielle Septim's noted in Arena, does she play a role in the succession controversy? Maybe the Dragon Guard have protected her and plan to reveal her soon. It would stabilize the Empire to know there's a legitimate heir in waiting.

The Emperor's Palace is a crown of sun rays, surrounded by his magical gardens. One garden path is known as Green Emperor Road-here, topiaries of the heads of past Emperors have been shaped by sorcery and can speak. Re: Cult of Heroes brainstorming
The PGE nearly glosses them entirely, so I get where youre coming from. Why spend all that time developing a cult that doesn't add much flavor? My thoughts for the Hero Cult sprang from that miscellaneous "quest" idea, the one about finding Pelinal's song in a Reman era dumpster, a la the ...

Instead of a salt mine, why not salinas grandes? I was only thinking, with so many ruins in a region half the size of Vvardenfell, why not break the spelunking spell and go with salt flats? Oblivion killed the mood and literally moved nothing forward. Come on, the savior of Tamriel's a churchmouse named Martin? Towers of Power? No thank you.
The only good to to come from Oblivion were Liminal Bridges, Pelinal, and Remanada.

Infragris, could one theme be Evolution? Cyrodiil has formed the crux of my and all our fantasies for years: what is Cyrod? Morrowind might be a chapter, but Battlespire is a legend.
