For rough terrain, using a combination of smooth vertices and radius 1 moving does wonders. Radius 1 moves a single vertex at a time, press W to see how the vertices are. Finished, including pathgrid.

NOTE TO MERGER: the two arrowslits need to be moved up so that the top is just barely bleeding into the lip of the tower top, and two arrowslits need to be added to the circular tower to reflect the ones in the interior.
