Province Cyrodiil: Leon is new Head of Interiors

Post by worsas » Sun Aug 30, 2015 11:56 am

Congratulations to Leon for assuming the title of Head of Interiors.

Leon has recently emerged as a major contributor of finished interiors. He is a reviewer and he has shown interest in managing our claims and doing what needs to be done to keep the interior section alive. Lastly he is an excellent interior creator, too. All of these things together make him an suitable candidate for this position.

Welcome to the Council and thankyou for your time and devotion.

Nice to see things happening in the interiors department! At least five interiors per month would be a good rate of progress.

5 interiors * 12 (months) * 5 (years) = 300 interiors per region (if #of interiors per city is reduced dramatically)! With luck dedication and excellent planning interiors could be finished in 25 years. I think it's attainable if people are willing, good luck and congrats!

The problem I have with this layout, is that interior houses are different than dungeons or even ruins.
That being said, I could easily finish a medium interior house in one day max two, but finishing a dungeon will in fact take a few months.
So when Anvil gets unlocked I could theoretically finish 14 interiors in one month alone, interior houses that is, and maybe if I'm lucky one dungeon in two months. :ugeek:

Agreed! and that's the level of dedication that may be required. Try to pace yourself, burnout is no good either. Four small interiors and one large dungeon / cave per month for one person is certainly possible. A relatively large, more unique dungeon might take a couple weeks or a month as you said while smaller, basic interior may only take 2-5 days. but long term, it averages out anyway.

Everyone who is willing is needed. Just two more people averaging three interiors per month would boost total completed interiors from 300 to around 650 in five years. or..

one interior lead:
4 small (S) and 1 large, unique (D) * 12 * 5 years
240S, 60D

two interior people:
3 small or 1 large unique * 12 * 5 years * 2 (people)
180S / 120D

Maximum of : 420 small interiors or 180 large, unique interiors = 600 completed interiors after 5 years if both
If we assume Cyrodiil requires 3000 interiors total (maybe less/more) then:
3000 = 600 interiors * 5

25 years = 5 years * 5

I think it'd be good to start budgeting how many large interiors and small interiors each region, city and town will have. You as interior lead could do that? By doing so P:C will better ensure interiors are completed for this project within a reasonable time frame. More dungeons and city interiors could always be added at a later date of course.

Yeah, only people here tend to have school/day jobs and also having a social life. So with the team that we have now won't be possible to complete all those interiors in that time-frame, not to mention the speed of the exterior progress is way slower than the interiors at this moment.
