Very late praise and bug reports for PC_Stirk_v4.8.ESP:

data

t_com_cm_skirt_01 "weird icon"

t_ensc_ayl_godlypower2
t_ensc_ayl_godlypower1 "these two different scrolls have the same name"

t_ayl_dngruin_welkynd01_64 "this does not display weight. also shows a value of 200 and the stone you get is worth 45"

t_imp_colfur_boots_01 Vabriasel, Marine Temple "missing icon"

t_cyrcom_var_bl2scroll Wormusoel, Unsullied Halls "first container seen with vanilla-named scrolls here"

steel dagger Stirk, Mira's Trade Goods "the steel dagger pommel design looks more like morrowind's style, any T_D variant?"

cells

in_lava_blacksquare Wormusoel, Secret Passage -2340 5593 -229 "black squares don't work for minimap in water interiors because they're even more noticeable than what they're supposed to hide, needs a rock instead"

ingred_sload_soap_01 Stirk, Lighthouse "sload soap is not soap [chanting dutifully]"

pc_m1-stirk_sign_03 Stirk (-137, -51) "has alchemist sign but cell is called House"

t_cyrimp_dngcolb_j2msc Val Ansvech Barrow "weird to find 'The Real Barenziah' in an abandoned colovian barrow, not to mention a clay jar smaller than these books are"
t_cyrimp_dngcolb_ch1msc Val Ansvech Barrow "same with finding a 2920 book here"

t_bk_manifestovampyrumpc Helvor Family Crypt "is there a reason for this explicitly vampire-aligned book to be found right at the entrance of what looks like a respectable family crypt?"

t_cyrcom_var_cr1moonsug Wormusoel, Secret Passage 2514 -4877 -3008 "these crates float or don't look like they could stand there"

t_imp_setstr_doorin_02 Stirk, Pilious Manor 3904 4606 16064 "these doors bleed into each other when opening"

furn_web10 Stirk (-136, -51) "webs sometimes get in the way of what's behind them being activable like the left side of the door here, just a bit weird but moving to the right lets you enter"

t_cyr_terrrockgc_rock_17 Stirk (-136, -51) "something causing combat here right outside city walls but couldn't find it"

npc/quest

pc_str_fennias maxim Stirk, Maxim: Smithy & Repairs "has only 30 gold"

bm_ka_door_dark Stirk Isle Region (-136, -50)
"Pella Verus says she marks barrows on your map, journal says it too, but they can't be marked because they're not exterior cells, best you could do is give a scroll with picture"

pc_str_josette leclerc Stirk, Leclerc Fine Garments "player could naturally come to this NPC to ask where to find the silk, for Atmospheric Dictative quest"

pc_str_estarria Stirk, Pilious Manor "topic 'golden amulet' asks 'Any news about that amulet business?' and forces Goodbye, which is weird. There's a lot of unneeded forced goodbye in quest dialogue in general"

pc_q1-5_note Stirk, Pilious Manor "would expect dialogue available from pc_str_estarria while having this in possession, even if just to acknowledge the player's attempt at bringing it up and dismiss"

pc_str_astoriahelvor Stirk, Helvor Manor
- no dialogue available from her either, be it about the note or the mercenary who attacked,
- journal entry after giving her heirlooms says 'and received 750 as reward',
- expect NPC's Disposition to increase when completing such a quest
- default voice doesn't match her age, could give her NoHello
- typo 'the old strenght'

pc_str_victus pilious Stirk, Pilious Manor
- if sold artefacts to mercenary (or sold one and gave one to astoria but either way didn't kill him), he says 'I heard of your argument with Vilter. Dead mercenaries aren't good for business' on topic heirloom
- not excluded from his entry on 'someone in particular', seems to lack nolore

There's a bugfixed new version of PC_stirk in PC_private. 4.8 is not the latest version.

An important issue that comes up here is the point of barter gold. In general, PT and especially SHOTN has gone in a direction of realistic/minimized barter gold, to reflect living conditions etc. But as player it's troublesome to have to go to extreme lengths to sell your loot and afford new gear or training. You just end up with a lot of waiting, and no immersion. I think we mostly should follow vanilla when it comes to barter gold, between 200-500 and more for wealthy merchants, up to several thousands.

Forgot one comment,
about some dialogue partially duplicated from vanilla in Topic:cyrodiil lore
Spoiler
The basics of Imperial law concerning life and property are codified by the Lex Imperia, based on Marukhati principles. Verbal assault and pickpocketing are malfeasances, punishable by fines and compensation of less than 100 drakes, or by punitive labor. Theft and foul murder are felonies. Theft is punishable by fines and compensation proportional to the value of the property stolen, or by punitive labor. Foul murder is punishable by fines and compensation of at least 1000 drakes, or by punitive labor.

Verbal assault, pickpocketing, and trespassing are minor crimes, punished by fines or labor. Theft and foul murder are felonies. Theft is punishable by fines and compensation proportional to the value of the property stolen, or by punitive labor. Foul murder is punishable by fines and compensation of at least 1000 drakes, or by punitive labor.

Theft and foul murder are serious crimes. Theft is punished by fines related to the value of the stolen goods, or by hard labor. Foul murder is punished by fines of at least 1000 drakes, or by hard labor.

Foul murder is punished by compensation, hard labor, and incarceration.
The issue isn't the duplication itself - it's the expression "foul murder", which I argue isn't simply a gratuitous allusion but actually a juridical term specific to Morrowind. Here's why: concepts and texts often take the opportunity to mention murder as if it were a culturally acceptable element of Dark Elven culture. Of course this is for flavor, ultimately a misrepresentation that (if we were talking about two cultures instead of a game) would be regarded as a language issue, and it's usually limited to the sermons and Mephala-related books.
Simply put, a specific term is needed for reprehensible murder in Morrowind because murder is a cool word to use. You have "foul murder" as opposed to non-foul, legal murder. See: Morag Tong.
