Hi, made an interior showcase to join PT. I'm familiar with modding in general as i've been a member of several Beyond Skyrim teams for 2 years now and mainly work on interiors and such, even though i'm not familiar at all with the CS I hope I can make it into the team with just one interior, let me know if things are out of place by the way and I'm open to do another one if needed.

Cell name is: "Sky_Interior_Showcase_Olórin"

Hi Olorin! Thanks for submitting a showcase

I've just got a few comments, but overall this is shaping up to be a really nice showcase int
  • Good job balancing items on the de_p furniture, but make sure not to go too far in the other direction and bleed or float things in the process. There are a few on the bookshelf you should take another look at
  • Watch the green-and-red boundary boxes on items like furniture and shelves to make sure they are sitting flush with the walls/floors.
  • For carpets with tassels, make sure to sink them into the floor so they sit flush. Same goes for bowls and plates with pointy bottoms.
  • In most ints, there's no need to cover every open wall panel with a tapestry Consider those more like accents to make certain parts look more varied, rather than something to put on every wall
  • Finally, just make sure to place a handful of Tamriel_Data items in your showcase
Great work so far -- feel free to ask on discord if you have any questions

Hi Olorin,

Sorry for the delay on this second pass look. Overall this is looking good. Just a few more things here:
  • Some furniture is still floating -- make sure to check those
  • There are a couple of items on the bookshelf that are bleeding
  • Please swap the R bench for a P one
  • A candle on the middle shelf is a bit of a fire hazard
Besides these small things this is really solid. Fix these and you'll be good to go.

Just a few small items left, and you'll be all good for promotion
  • light_com_lamp_01 is bleeding into the wall and floating
  • your tapestries are bleeding into the ceiling - look at ints in Narsis for the correct way to do de taps
  • in_hlaalu_doorjamb on the top floor is not aligned correctly (make sure the pillar is showing)
  • urn_05_food on top floor is floating
  • some items on the top floor wall shelf are floating
  • Light_Com_Candle_01_64 on top floor shelf is bleeding
  • furniture on the top floor is bleeding into the carpet
  • some of the wooden silverware on the downstairs bookshelf is floating, and the shirts are bleeding
  • lamp in the bedroom is floating
  • chest_small_01_gold_50 is backwards
  • ingred_rat_meat_01 is floating

Hi Olorin,

This showcase is very close to being good to go, however it has several dozen dirty refs. Please make sure to clean out all references from your file besides the cell name and pathgrid. I recommend using TESAME for this.

Besides that, my only other note is to recommend using the hlaalu load door for the entrances, since it saves the engine from having to load textures on the back never seen by the player.

Replaced the doors and I forgot to clean the file with tesame, the file is now clean and everything should be fine finally. :D

Promoted - good work

The doors are still the same, but I assume you just maybe overwrote the wrong file when you cleaned it
